Eco Gardens Brand
Client: Eco Gardens.
Role: Design direction, design.
Reframing hydroponics from cannabis to carrots.
A key challenge in branding Eco Gardens hydroponics and aeroponics was changing the perception that these systems were complicated and only for specialists or linked to marijuana cultivation.
In reality, the same technology, dating back to the Hanging Gardens of Babylon (600BC) and currently used by NASA in space, can be easily applied at home. These methods grow plants 50% faster than traditional gardening while using up to 90% less water. With rising food costs, homegrown produce is both sustainable and cost-effective.
Hydroponic and aeroponic systems are compact and efficient, fitting anywhere from balconies to rooftops. The branding focuses on clean, modern visuals and straightforward messaging to make the brand approachable.
The goal was to position Eco Gardens as a smart, sustainable solution for everyday people, offering an easy way to grow fresh food at home without the hassle of traditional gardening. I also developed a merchandise range to support this vision, adding another revenue stream and reinforcing the brand’s accessible, everyday appeal.
